OBJECTIVE

Our objective was to craft a brand story that speaks to the soul, and design a visual identity that captivates the senses. By crafting a compelling narrative and designing the brand collaterals, menus, packaging and website, we ended up creating a unique identity for this brand.

In the midst of 2021, when Chennai was bouncing back from the lockdown, a unique vision was born. The client wanted to create a gourmet cafe that is a sanctuary of solace with great food and a soothing ambience for sore minds. Branding for The Entrance Cafe has been carried out with exactly that in mind. It revolves around the art of slowing down, finding tranquillity in the chaos, and cherishing the simple pleasures of life. With a meticulous brand strategy and creative finesse, we set out to position The Entrance Cafe as one of Chennai's most happening destinations - a place where one could experience nirvana.

BRAND STORY

The narrative for The Entrance Cafe's brand story revolves around mindfulness, peace and time. In a world that's constantly buzzing, the place creates an aura of timelessness and an atmosphere where you can truly stop and smell the roses.

Our muse for the branding? The usage of organic ingredients and the art of story telling through its delectable recipes. We envisioned The Entrance Cafe as a Conscious Gourmet Cafe, where every bite would not only tantalise the taste buds, but also nourish the soul.

It was an absolute delight to see The Entrance Cafe's brand story take a tangible form. The architect, inspired by our visualisation, ensured that the interiors of the space reflected timelessness and grace. Elements like greenery and water have been weaved into the ambience to bring the brand story to life. By using contemporary aesthetics, every aspect of the cafe's interiors was carefully crafted to capture the brand's identity.

PACKAGING

The packaging design for 'The Entrance Cafe' is an ode to understated elegance, with muted pastel colours and contemporary design elements that celebrate the art of food. Our packaging is designed to be both functional and aesthetic, making it the perfect choice for your take-away order.

The Entrance Cafe x Marc's Coffee

Marc's Coffee is an artisanal Coffee Company, based out of Pondicherry, and founded by Marc Tomo, a Barcelonian Coffee connoisseur and entrepreneur.

In a move that left caffeine enthusiasts buzzing with excitement, The Entrance Cafe teamed up with Marc's Coffee to create a truly one-of-a-kind coffee experience.

We were at the heart of it all, from the very beginning to the final unveiling of the special beverage menu at The Entrance Cafe. We curated unique coffee cards to be given along with the order, to make sure that every single sip had a story to tell. We also ensured that the entire experience captured the essence of both brands without diluting their identities.

The packaging for The Entrance Cafe x Marc's Coffee's special roasts was designed keeping in mind the premium quality of the coffee inside. With a minimalistic design that's sleek and stylish, reflective of the flavour and aroma of the coffee inside, the packaging was created to make just the right impression.

The Madras Bungalows

OBJECTIVE

Our goal is simple - To position The Madras Bungalows as Chennai's ultimate destination for luxury living.
To create awareness about the brand and build a strong association with the target audience. To generate
interest, inquiries and ultimately drive sales for this premium project.

The Madras Bungalows, a luxury project of SPR City, is a pinnacle of luxury designed for the discerning few. Not only are these bungalows majestic, but they also make their proud owners feel like kings. For a project like this, we felt the logo should reflect its magnificence.

With the horses symbolising the grace, strength, and beauty of these majestic bungalows, the colours burgundy and beige add a timeless appeal to the logo.

A RARITY IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

This series of print ads emphasize on how it is rare to spot a bungalow in the
centre of a city, and how even rarer it is to live in one.

THE OUTDOOR LIFE

The campaign captured the unique lifestyle the property offers with its
5.5 acres of lush greenery. The following print ads emphasis on how the outdoors
is the new indoors at The Madras Bungalows.

THE LUXURY COLLECTION BY SPR

The following ads were done for SPR Origine, now known as The Madras
Bungalows. These ads emphasize how these majestic bespoke bungalows are
not just a luxury but a testament to person's accomplishments and legacy.

To establish a unique corporate identity that reflects Upstream's mission and vision, enabling it to stand out from the competition. To create a strong brand identity that resonates with the brand’s purpose and a design language that visually depicts the passion, commitment and dedication of Upstream’s talented athletes.

Through careful deliberation and strategic thinking, we
developed a distinctive brand persona that captured the
essence of Upstream's high-end sports offerings. By
conducting in-depth research and analysis, we identified
the brand's target audience and market positioning,
ensuring that the corporate identity aligned seamlessly
with Upstream's objectives.

PURPOSE

To introduce a high performance testing and
training ground for athletes who want to perform
at the highest level.

MISSION

To continuously and consistently provide the
disadvantaged, skilled and talented population of
this country, with the best training and sports
facilities in the world at reasonable costs.

These bold and concentrated colours are a symbol of strength and reliability, reflecting the unwavering dedication and commitment to help our athletes achieve their dreams. Together, they create a powerful and dynamic visual identity that reflects our brand's values and mission.

The icons are designed to be used across a variety of mediums, including digital and print media, as well as merchandise & apparel. These icons are a perfect representation of Upstream Sports' philosophy of a minimal yet active style, with a consistent design that is easily recognizable and visually appealing.

Our design language is a minimalist masterpiece, conveying power and boldness through its clean lines and uncluttered simplicity. Understanding that less is more, our design philosophy reflects this by comprising only the core elements, the three strips, to make a strong visual impact.
